About Chapters

What Is a
United2Heal Chapter?

A United2Heal chapter is a student-led organization operating under our nonprofit umbrella at a college or university. Chapter members are the boots on the ground — they organize volunteer events, coordinate with local healthcare facilities to collect supply donations, and bring consistent manpower to our warehouse operations.

Chapters give students in healthcare, public health, business, and beyond a hands-on way to make a global impact while still in school. They build leadership skills, real-world logistics experience, and a direct connection to the communities we serve abroad.

📦
Warehouse Volunteer Days
Chapters organize group trips to our warehouse to sort, record, and pack medical supplies for overseas shipment.
🏥
Local Supply Drives
Students coordinate with nearby clinics, hospitals, and campus health centers to collect surplus medical materials.
🎓
Campus Outreach & Events
Chapters raise awareness through tabling, info sessions, speaker events, and fundraisers on campus.
🌍
Connected to a Global Mission
Every action a chapter takes connects directly to real shipments going to communities in need overseas.

Active Campus Chapters

Our two active chapters represent the next generation of United2Heal — student leaders committed to bridging the gap between local healthcare surplus and global medical need.

United2Heal at VCU
📍 Richmond, Virginia

As our home-city chapter, the VCU team holds a special place in United2Heal's story. Based just miles from our warehouse, VCU members are regulars at our sorting and packing events — often showing up in force on weekends to help process incoming supply donations and prepare containers for shipment. With VCU's strong health sciences and pre-med community, the chapter brings both passion and relevant expertise to every volunteer day. Members have also been instrumental in building relationships with local Richmond-area clinics that donate surplus supplies to our pipeline.

The GMU chapter brings together a uniquely diverse student body — drawing members from health sciences, global affairs, public policy, and engineering — all united by a shared commitment to global health equity. Located in Northern Virginia, the chapter has expanded United2Heal's reach into the DC metro area, building relationships with clinics and healthcare networks in Fairfax, Arlington, and beyond. GMU members frequently travel to our Richmond warehouse for volunteer days and have also launched their own local supply collection initiatives on campus, tapping into the university's close proximity to major hospital systems in the region.
