Haiti Relief Drive

How to Help:

  1. Purchase/Donate Requested Medical Supplies
  2. Drop them off at a Collection Site
  3. Spread the Word!

With the Ghana container nearly complete (Ghana Loading Day, March 20!), we are now officially shifting our attention to our next container to Haiti. Instead of sitting idle as we wait for more unsorted supplies, we’re going to go out and get them ourselves! To assist us in this effort, we are encouraging supporters to purchase and donate basic medical supplies (see list below). We will be organizing collection sites throughout Ann Arbor and beyond, in schools, religious centers, and stores in order to facilitate this process.

You can donate supplies you already have or purchase new supplies, but please only collect unused, good quality supplies!

Here is the list of what we are looking for in no particular order:

  • Blankets
  • Tarps
  • Non-Powdered Sterile Gloves
  • Dressings
  • Bandages (all types)
  • Gauze
  • Medical Tape
  • Orthopedic Supplies (Braces, Slings, etc.)
  • Alcohol Pads
  • Antiseptic Wipes
  • Cold Compresses
  • Hot Packs
  • Electric Thermometers
  • Rehab Equipment (Crutches, Walkers, Wheelchairs, etc.)
  • Collapsible Water Jugs

All you have to do is purchase any quantity of supplies from this list and then bring them to a designated collection site. The people of Haiti need our help right now. Donations of all sizes make a big difference. Please spread the word!

Thank you!

Jacob
