U2H member Joey Perosky is currently in Ghana, working for the University of Michigan Clinical Simulation Center. For the program, he will be “training midwives and traditional birth attendants on how to manage postpartum hemorrhage using bi-manual compression,” and doing other training in Kumasi, Tamale Teaching Hospitals, Savelegu District, and Sene District.

While there, Joey will be providing us with U2H updates about our situation in Ghana, including last April’s shipment to Tamale and our upcoming shipment to Sene District. Look out for updates that will be posted right here on the blog!
