COA Benefit Dinner on March 8, 2009
It’s official! Children of Abraham will host its second annual Benefit Dinner in the Assembly Hall of Rackham on March 8, 2009. The catered event will include a panel of speakers, an auction, a raffle, and many opportunities to hear more about our program.

The Panel:
For the main attraction, a panel of UM doctors will speak about their experiences with international humanitarian aid. Each will speak about their individual experiences and the wisdom that they gained. After, the three will serve as a panel to answer audience questions about foreign aid programs.
The Auction:
We will be auctioning off a wonderful assortment of collectibles. All items are donated from generous COA supporters, so 100% of the final sales price will go towards our efforts. There will also be a raffle for smaller items, like movie tickets, gift certificates, etc. More details will be posted soon. Here is a taste of what is up for auction:

The Food:
We will be providing a delectable smorgasbord of Middle Eastern food from Dearborn. There will be Kosher, Halal, and Vegetarian options. Deserts will be catered from Shatila and Masri Sweets.

Tickets:
Tickets for the event are on sale now. If you’re interested, you can buy tickets through our website today! Tickets are $35 each for adults and $15 each for UM students. All 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards future COA projects. We hope to see you there!
